A Parisian Morning In NYC

It’s the little things in life that make you the happiest. Fresh peonies, iced latte’s and catch up’s with the best of friends. Recently going for a casual coffee date, turned into a serendipitous parisian morning. One in which I enjoyed so much, I couldn’t help but share.

1. Breakfast at Buvette – 42 Grove St, New York, NY 10014

Hidden along the tree lined Grove Street in the heart of West Village, you’ll find beloved Buvette wrapped with fairy lights. At first, I was sceptical to try Buvette as the menu is quite small. But it turned out to be the perfect place to have some brunch, a cup of tea, and wish you had actually flown to Paris for the morning. I ordered the Steamed Les Oeufs – Scrambled w/ Prosciutto, and it is hands down the best scrambled I have ever tasted.

2. A Trip to Dominique Ansel Bakery -189 Spring St, New York, NY 10012

Creator of the Cronut and many other delectable treats, we couldn’t help but stop by this renowned bakery. The Cronut was incredible, with a citrusy filling that make it feel lighter than it actually is. Don’t forget to pick up some takeaways to further indulge at home too!

3. Stop to Smell the Roses – Dean & DeLuca – 560 Broadway, New York, NY 10012

Walking past Dean & DeLuca in SoHo, I had to stop in to grab a bunch of their fresh flowers. Being Summer, the most beautiful flowers are in bloom so you might as well make the use of it. Peonies and Sunflowers are my most loved.

3. Zara Shopping – 580 Broadway, New York, NY 10012

Affordable, good quality clothing! What more can you ask for after breakfast and treats. Zara’s Basics Collection get me every time with the price point being just right and the cuts a perfect fit.
